At Partner Carrier LLC, safety is a core operating principle. We are committed to protecting our drivers, employees, contractors, customers, freight, equipment, and the public through safe, lawful, and disciplined transportation practices.
As a freight logistics and transportation company, we recognize that safety is not separate from operations. It is part of how we plan loads, dispatch equipment, maintain vehicles, manage drivers, and serve customers every day. No load, deadline, or business opportunity is more important than operating safely and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Partner Carrier LLC expects all employees, drivers, owner-operators, dispatch personnel, and contractors acting on behalf of the company to perform their duties in a manner that supports safe transportation, regulatory compliance, and professional conduct at all times.

Roles and Responsibilities
Ownership and Management
Company leadership is responsible for supporting the safety program, allocating appropriate resources, enforcing standards fairly, and reviewing safety performance on an ongoing basis.
Operations Management
Operations management is responsible for implementing day-to-day safety procedures, supporting compliance, maintaining records, coordinating training, reviewing incidents, and communicating expectations to drivers and dispatch personnel.
Drivers and Owner-Operators
Drivers are responsible for operating vehicles safely, following all traffic laws, conducting required inspections, reporting defects and incidents promptly, complying with hours-of-service requirements, and protecting the public, cargo, and company equipment.
Dispatch Personnel
Dispatch personnel must plan and assign work responsibly. Drivers must not be pressured, encouraged, or permitted to operate in violation of fatigue limits, hours-of-service rules, unsafe weather conditions, or vehicle defect requirements.
Maintenance Support
Any person responsible for vehicle maintenance or repair must ensure that equipment is properly inspected, repaired, and returned to service only when safe and compliant for operation.
Operating Standards
Driver Qualification
Partner Carrier LLC requires all drivers to meet applicable qualification standards before performing safety-sensitive functions. This includes valid licensing, appropriate endorsements, medical qualification where required, and successful completion of pre-employment screening and company review procedures.
Training and Safety Communication
All drivers and relevant personnel are expected to receive orientation and ongoing instruction related to safe driving, inspections, hours of service, cargo securement, incident reporting, and company expectations. Additional coaching or retraining may be required following a violation, incident, or observed safety concern.
Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance
Vehicles operated on behalf of Partner Carrier LLC must be inspected and maintained on a regular basis. Drivers are expected to complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any defects immediately. Any vehicle with a condition that could affect safe operation must be removed from service until properly repaired.
Hours of Service and Fatigue Management
Partner Carrier LLC requires strict compliance with applicable hours-of-service requirements. Drivers are expected to manage rest responsibly and immediately report fatigue, illness, or any condition that may impair safe operation. The company will not support or tolerate dispatch practices that encourage unsafe or unlawful operation.
Safe Driving Expectations
Safe driving is a condition of working with or for Partner Carrier LLC. Drivers are expected to wear seat belts, obey traffic laws, adjust for road and weather conditions, maintain safe following distance, avoid distractions, and operate with professionalism and care at all times.
Use of handheld mobile devices while driving is prohibited except as allowed by law in emergency situations and only when doing so does not create an additional safety risk. Reckless driving, aggressive driving, speeding, and any conduct that places people, freight, or equipment at unnecessary risk are unacceptable.
Cargo Securement
Freight must be loaded, distributed, and secured properly before departure and checked as required during transit. Drivers remain responsible for confirming that cargo securement is safe and suitable for transport.
Incident and Accident Reporting
All accidents, incidents, injuries, spills, vehicle damage, cargo loss, and near-miss events must be reported to the company immediately or as soon as it is safe to do so. Prompt reporting allows the company to respond appropriately, protect the public, preserve facts, and take corrective action where needed.
Workplace and Yard Safety
Personnel working in yards, terminals, customer facilities, or loading areas are expected to follow site-specific safety rules and use appropriate personal protective equipment when required. Good housekeeping and awareness of slip, trip, fall, backing, and loading hazards are part of daily safe operations.
Enforcement
Failure to follow this policy, safe operating procedures, regulatory requirements, or company instructions may result in corrective action, up to and including removal from duty, suspension, termination of employment or contract, and any other action required by law or company policy.
Continuous Improvement
Partner Carrier LLC reviews safety performance, incidents, violations, inspections, and related operating trends to identify risks and improve our safety program. We believe safety is an ongoing process that requires accountability, communication, and leadership at every level of the business.
